The Tear in The Tent

It's the most absurd - and frequent - question a creative is asked: "Where do you get your ideas?" The creative process is like trying to find a secret entryway into the circus. You look everywhere and find nothing. Just when you've given up, you discover "The Tear In The Tent" - too small for anyone else to notice, but big enough for you to fit through. Suddenly, you're inside the Big Top, and surrounded by a carnival of ideas. The consistent performers are collaboration, research, a raw enthusiasm for the process, and, ultimately, pride in a job well done.
